No weird custom hardware that’s hard to replace or service. You can swap heads super fast, without touching the snare wires. It’s a practical design made for real players.

Sound qualities:
The response is direct when playing softly, and the sound is delicate with a great response of the wires.
When playing hard, the floating wooden shell gives loads of low end, and the metal outer shell provides the power of a metal snare drum.
The rimshot has depth and a lot of nuances, tone, and colour.
The overall sound is a mix between a wooden and a metal snare.
The sound and tuning will improve as you play.
