This 14×5.5″ Olivewood stave snare is part of the Zrour Drums Stealth Line, a series designed to look and mount like a conventional snare, while secretly offering the option to run fully free‑floating. It delivers the unmistakable dark‑complex Olivewood voice, combined with the tuning stability and overtone control that only the Stealth one‑point tube lugs can provide.

Stealth Line Advantage: One‑Point Tube Lugs

The Stealth system uses single‑point tube lugs with an external release screw. Tightened: the snare behaves like a conventional drum. Released: the shell is removed from the tension path, and the snare becomes fully free‑floating.

Countersunk Mounting Screws: Clean Interior, Zero Stress

Each tube lug is mounted with a single countersunk screw, leaving the inside of the shell perfectly clean, no bulky washers, no protruding hardware, nothing interfering with airflow or resonance.

Because the tube lug is two‑sided, both heads pull on the tube equally and in opposite directions. These forces cancel out, meaning:

• the mounting screw experiences almost no lateral stress
• the screw is never pulled outward
• there is no need for oversized bolts or washers
• the shell remains light, responsive, and unobstructed

This is the Stealth Line’s hidden engineering: minimal shell contact, maximum stability.
